Unrated 'Fifty Shades of Grey' DVD/Blu-Ray Will Have an Alternate Ending

The DVD and Blu-Ray of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' is due out with an unrated edition on digital on May 1 and in stores on May 8.

AceShowbiz - "Fifty Shades of Grey" is coming with an unrated edition on Digital HD and Blu-Ray. The raunchy flick's Digital HD and Blu-Ray release boasts new scenes, boundary-pushing footage and also an alternate ending.

The DVD and Blu-Ray of the big-screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling novels will be released on Digital HD on Friday, May 1 and in stores on May 8. A teaser for "Fifty Shades" DVD and Blu-Ray release was released on Tuesday, March 24. The 1-minute preview shows some scenes of the movie and interviews with Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan and E.L. James.

Dakota says, "Christian and Ana meet each other and they both happen to be each other's Achilles' heel." E.L. adds, "I knew from the start that it would be a passionate love story. I always described it as a love story with a kink."

According to Cinema Blend, the DVD and Blu-Ray edition will also offfer "almost two hours of all-new bonus features that go behind the scenes of this year's hottest romance." The bonus features include a "World of Fifty Shades of Grey", which focuses on creating the setting and characters.

There will also be a feature called "E.L. James & Fifty Shades" and another feature called "Fifty Shades: The Pleasure of Pain", which will include a chat with a BDSM consultant. Additional features include set tours, music videos and a behind-the-scenes look at The Weeknd's "Earned It" music video.
