The singer can't hold back tears as she reveals husband Rene Angelil is now on a feeding tube, adding that she feeds him three times a day.

AceShowbiz - Celine Dion fought back tears as she opened up about her husband Rene Angelil's on-going battle with cancer throat in a new interview with ABC News. "He can't use his mouth. He can't eat, so I feed him. He's got a feeding tube. I have to feed him three times a day. I do this myself, and so I feed my husband and feed my kids," so she revealed, adding, "We are taking life one day at a time. [But] we are choosing to live."

When ABC News' Deborah Roberts told her, "Your heart was someplace else," Dion was quick to respond, "Oh, come on. I mean, the fans, they know I'm an open book...I sing, that's the only thing I know." In further interview, the Grammy-winning songstress also opened up about how her and Angelil's children, 14-year-old Rene-Charles and 4 1/2-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy, deal with their father's cancer and why she decided to continue her Las Vegas residency. The full interview is set to be aired Wednesday, March 25 on "Good Morning America" at 7 A.M. ET and on "Nightline" at 12:35 A.M. ET.

Celine Dion announced in 2014 that she took an indefinite leave from the stage to take care of her husband, Rene Angelil, who had been diagnosed with cancer. At that time, she herself was struggling with an illness that caused her throat muscles to inflame. The career hiatus that she took included pulling the plug on her hugely successful residency at Caesars Palace.

However, it was confirmed by a representative last week that Dion would be resuming her Las Vegas residency in late August this year with a new act. "Every night is a new show ... I promise there will be high, happy notes," Dion assured, adding, "It's very touching."
