AceShowbiz - Robert Downey Jr. has become a real-life superhero for a little boy who was born with a partially developed right arm. In a video he posted on Facebook on Thursday, March 12, Robert dressed up as Tony Stark to deliver a robotic "Iron Man" arm to Alex, who loves superheroes.

In the video, Alex was told he was meeting a bionic expert at a hotel room, but he had no idea it would be one of his favorite superhero characters Iron Man. "Nice bow tie, by the way," Robert told Alex. "How were your travels?" Alex replied, "It's very good." Robert then opened two cases, written Stark Industries, with one containing Alex's new arm and another one containing a larger arm for the actor.

"Actually, I think yours might be better than mine," Robert told Alex, "What do you say we both try them on, do a progress report?" The boy said, "Okay." When asked if he knew who Robert is, Alex smiled and replied, "Iron Man." The actor then pumped his fist in the air. Asked what the actor's real name, Alex said, "Robert," to which the actor quipped, "Great!"

Robert wrote alongside the video, "Had the absolute privilege of presenting a brand spanking new 3D-printed bionic Iron Man arm to Alex, the most dapper 7-year-old I've ever met." The 3D bionic "Iron Man" arm was made by a college student named Albert Manero, who works alongside Microsoft OneNote and #CollectiveProject to provide "low-cost, 3D-printed bionic limbs to kids around the world."

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor also shared on Twitter some photos from his meeting with Alex. "Can't resist more pics from the #CollectiveProject. Special thx to Albert Manero, @MSOneNote, & @Marvel. #Limbitless," he captioned it.
