In an interview with Howard Stern, the 'Like a Virgin' songstress reveals she was raped during her first year in New York City and confirms she dated the late singer back in 1994.

AceShowbiz - Madonna opened up about her past stories in a radio interview with Howard Stern on Sirius XM's "Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday, March 11. The "Rebel Heart" singer told Howard that she was raped during her first year in New York City.

"First I was in shock, I didn't know a soul," the Michigan-born songstress shared, "I was saying hi to people on the streets like a dork." As month passed by, she experienced some unfortunate incidents like her apartment kept getting robbed, leaving her with very few possessions.

One of the most scariest events occurred when her friendliness got her into a difficult situation. "I was going to a dance class and the door was locked and I needed money for the payphone," she explained, "[A man] gave it to me... he was a very friendly guy. I trusted everybody." The man then convinced her to make a phone call from his house across the street. "I was raped," she added, "The first year I lived in New York was crazy."

When Howard and co-host Robin Quivers asked Madonna if she ever called police and filed a charges against the rapist, she explained that the process was too overwhelming. "You've already been violated," she said, "It's just not worth it. It's too much humiliation."

Asked if she ever wanted just to fly back to Michigan after the horrific experiences, the "Like a Prayer" singer said, "Well, have you ever been to Rochester, Michigan? I just didn't want to go back. I can't be around basic-thinking people."

In the interview, Madonna also confirmed her past romance with Tupac Shakur when talking about her 90s interviews with David Letterman. "I was mad at [David Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot," she said of her appearance on David's show back in 1994, "I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up about life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta."
