AceShowbiz - Another version of Kanye West's hit single "Gold Digger" has just landed online. A new video was recently uploaded to YouTube showing a younger 'Ye performing some iconic bars from the song during an event called 2nd Annual Dynamic Producer Conference back in 2003, a year before his debut album "College Dropout" was released.
The three-minute clip is interesting. It sees West wearing a bright-orange Reese's Peanut Butter Cup T-shirt teamed with a red hat. The future superstar carried a small backpack while rapping familiar "Gold Digger" lines like, "18 years, 18 years/ She got one of your kids, got you for 18 years," over the piano played by John Legend, who also delivered an original chorus towards the end of the song.
The version of "Gold Digger" everyone knows is included on West's 2005 sophomore effort "Late Registration". Featuring Jamie Foxx, the song was a big hit, peaking at No.1 on Billboard Hot 100.
