Ahead of her new album release, the Material Girl considers the outspoken rapper her soulmate 'in the envelope-pushing genre.'

AceShowbiz - Madonna considers Kanye West her kindred spirit in music. "Kanye is the new Madonna," she told New York Daily News. "Kanye is the black Madonna." She explained, "We know, and recognize, that we have that in common. We're comrades in the envelope-pushing genre."
But she doesn't always agree with the things he says or does. "I think he takes award shows too seriously," she previously said to Rolling Stone. "So that part of him I can't relate to. Like, what's the point of fighting for somebody to...like, 'This person should have got it?' Don't come to an award show looking for justice!"
Madonna is expected to be featured in Kanye West's next studio installment "So Help Me God". The rapper also helps the Material Girl with her new LP "Rebel Heart".
