The 'From Dusk Till Dawn' actor joins Stark Sands and Meagan Good in the TV sequel to the 2002 movie of the same name led by Tom Cruise and directed by Steven Spielberg.

AceShowbiz - Wilmer Valderrama is added to FOX's pilot "Minority Report", a small-screen sequel to Tom Cruise's 2002 movie of the same name. The "From Dusk Till Dawn" actor joins the cast ensemble that include Stark Sands and Meagan Good.

Sands is cast in the dual roles of Dash and Arthur, the two male Precogs. Good will play Lara Vega, a detective haunted by her past. She meets Dash who struggles to lead a "normal" human life and may help him find a purpose for his gift. Valderrama will play Will Blake, a new detective who fills in for Vega at the precinct when she's on a leave. She decides she doesn't like him when she sizes him up.

Daniel London who played Wally the Caretaker in the original film will reprise his role in the pilot. Other cast members include Laura Regan as Agatha, the Precog originally played by Samantha Morton on the big screen, and Li Jun Li as a CSI technician named Akeela.

The pilot is written by Max Borenstein ("Godzilla") and directed by Mark Mylod who previously helmed pilots for "Once Upon a Time" and "The Affair". Kevin Falls ("The West Wing") serves as a showrunner. Steven Spielberg who directed the original film is among the producers along with Borenstein and Falls.

The project gets a hefty pilot commitment from FOX. It picks up 10 years after the events in the film as the Precrime division headed by Cruise's Chief John Anderton was shut down.
