Hugh Jackman 'Open' to the Idea of Him Appearing as Wolverine in 'Deadpool'

In an interview to promote his new film 'Chappie', the actor reveals he'll be happy to make a cameo as Wolverine in the 'Deadpool' movie starring Ryan Reynolds.

AceShowbiz - Hugh Jackman will definitely accept an offer to appear in "Deadpool". In a new interview with MTV U.K., the actor said that he'd totally love the idea of him reprising his role as Wolverine for the upcoming film that centers on the character played by Ryan Reynolds.

Jackman and Reynolds have worked together in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". "[Wolverine and Deadpool] are enemies in the comics, and they always spark off well together," the Australia-born star said of their possible reunion. "I'd be open to that idea."

"Deadpool" is scheduled to be released on February 12, 2016. In the interview, the 46-year-old entertainer also showed support for Reynolds whom he called his "good friend." He said, "Ryan is a really good friend of mine, I'm really happy for him. He's a brilliant actor and he will nail it."

In the meantime, Jackman is promoting his new film "Chappie" that's due out in the U.S. on March 6. He's expected to play Wolverine again in the highly-anticipated "X-Men: Apocalypse".
