The former 'Teen Mom 2' star claims the arrest was just a misunderstanding and she has gotten her license back.

AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans had a brush with the law on Tuesday, February 24. The former "Teen Mom 2" star was taken into police custody after being pulled over by the South Carolina Highway Patrol for driving without a valid license.

The 23-year-old mother of two was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. The ex-MTV reality was released after posting a $237.50 bond and took it to Twitter to explain her latest arrest.

"How r u going to suspended my license becuz a seat belt ticket was paid 3 days late back in 2013 ?!" she wrote. "Soooo the NC DMV suspends my license last month then doesn't tell me?! Niiiiice. Got my license back tho. ????"

Jenelle Evans first appeared on the second season of "16 and Pregnant" before starring on the second installment of "Teen Mom". The reality show will return March 23 with "Teen Mom OG". Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout are invited back.
