The 12 male contestants did their best to bring exciting performances in the Wednesday, February 25 episode of the singing competition.

AceShowbiz - Top 12 male contestants on "American Idol" season 13 showed off their skills in the Wednesday, February 25 episode of the singing competition. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show sees the contestants performing in front of the audience for the first time and doing their best to win their hearts.

The 1-hour telecast started with Adam Ezegelian who performed "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister. The judges, which consists of Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., gave him fairly good comments. Michael Simeon performed next, singing Michael Bolton's hit "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You". Harry told him to keep singing in tune, Jennifer liked his performance while Keith said the performance was in control.

Next on the show, Savion Wright belted out Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" with a guitar. Keith apparently didn't really agree with the song choice, while Jennifer told him to focus more on the camera instead of the audience. The next contestant Mark Andrew who performed "The Weight" by The Band won approval from the judges.

Fifth performer Trevor Douglas went onstage to perform Gavin DeGraw's "Best I Ever Had", but it wasn't his best performance. Trevor showed good energy, but his voice was shaky that night. Clark Beckham performed "When a Man Loves a Woman" and the judges liked it.

Singing Nick Jonas' "Jealous", Rayvon Owen showed that he's comfortable onstage. Later on, Daniel Seavey sang Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours". Jennifer commented on inconsistencies in the song, while Keith said it was "interesting" to see the youngest contestant on the show tackling the song.

Riley Bria sang Eric Church's "Homeboy" that night. Harry said Riley reminded him of Keith. The country superstar, meanwhile, praised his song choice. Quentin Alexander showcased a unique performance with "I Put a Spell on You" and the judges praised the choice.

Judges also loved Nick Fradiani's performance. Singing "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran, he received praises from the judges, with Keith calling the hit perfect choice for his voice. Jennifer deemed it one of the best performances so far. Next performer, Qaasim Middleton, delivered an entertaining performance of "Uptown Funk".
