Robert Downey Jr. Shares Iron Man Character Poster in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'

The Tony Stark depicter in 'Avengers' takes to Twitter to share a new image of him as Iron Man and teases a 'big announcement' which is coming in eight days.

AceShowbiz - Just one day after a new "Avengers: Age of Ultron" poster was released, Robert Downey Jr. shared an Iron Man character poster. Looking cool in the red-and-gold suit, the character is seen crouching on the ground. A building and flying drones are seen in the background. In addition to sharing the photo, the Tony Stark depicter teased that there would be a "big announcement" in the coming days.

Downey Jr. dropped no clue about the upcoming announcement, but fans have shared their speculations online. Some think that a closer look at The Vision will be shared in eight days, while others believe it may be a new trailer or more character posters. Some others speculate that it may be "Spider-Man"-related news such as cast announcement or first appearance of the web slinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is coming to theaters in the U.S. on May 1. Apart from Downey Jr., fans will see Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner reprising their roles as Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye respectively. The highly-anticipated film will also feature appearances from new characters such as Paul Bettany's The Vision, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch and Aaron Johnson's Quicksilver.

The new poster which was released on Tuesday also confirms that Anthony Mackie who plays The Falcon a.k.a. Sam Wilson is featured in the follow-up to "The Avengers". The "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star then took to Twitter to share his excitement.
