The Monster ringleader confirms that she has landed a role in the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa is making her first major TV gig. The Mother Monster announces on Twitter that she will check into "American Horror Story: Hotel". "Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel," she reveals her involvement in the FX anthology series along with a short video that sees her removing her mask and whispering "hotel."

Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, "American Horror Story" is entering the fifth installment after completing "Freak Show" in January. Details of GaGa's role are not disclosed, but the next season is expected to premiere in October this year.

What "Hotel" might entail is still scarce, but all "AHS" seasons are somehow connected and clues about the new cycle can be found throughout the fourth one. "They're all very separate but there's clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined," Murphy once said.

No other cast is announced for the new installment. Two mainstays Sarah Paulson and Emma Roberts are working on new projects from Murphy. The former is set for "American Crime Story" with John Travolta and the latter is tapped for "Scream Queen" with Lea Michele. It's also unclear if "AHS" regular Jessica Lange will return for "Hotel".

Lady GaGa is fresh off her show-stealing performance at the Academy Awards over the weekend. Known for her dramatic look and performance, she has appeared in movies like "Machete Kills", "Muppets Most Wanted", and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill for".
