The actor who played Meep in 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' died on Monday, February 23 following a head injury he sustained last week.

AceShowbiz - Ben Woolf, the actor who is best known for his role as Meep in "American Horror Story: Freak Show", passed away in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday, February 23 following a head injury he sustained last week. He was 34.

Ben's family said in a statement, "We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben. He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work."

His rep added, "Ben was one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten. The time we all shared together will be remembered forever."

A source close to Ben told TMZ that the 4-foot-4 actor died from a stroke on Monday afternoon. His organs reportedly are being donated and will help around 50 people. According to his family, they are planning a memorial service in Santa Barbara.

Ben was struck in the head by the side-view mirror of a car in Hollywood on Thursday night, February 19. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital and remained in critical condition. Over the weekend, his status had been upgraded to "critical, but stable" but he remained heavily sedated while under constant doctor supervision.
