'Forever my family,' so Lea Michele writes in a caption of a group picture featuring the cast of the FOX series.

AceShowbiz - It's officially a wrap on "Glee". On Saturday, February 21, the cast and crew completed the shooting of the sixth and final season of the FOX musical series, and the stars took to social media sites to share pictures from the final days of filming.

Lea Michele posted on her Twitter a group photo featuring the current main cast and returning stars like Dianna Agron, Jonathan Groff and Jessalyn Gilsig on the auditorium stage. "Forever my family," she captioned the picture and added a heart emoticon.

The actress filmed Rachel's last solo performance in the McKinley High auditorium a few days before. She also tweeted a pic with the show's hunks, Darren Criss, Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet on Thursday, and a shot with Matthew Morrison taken on the set on Friday.

"I'm so grateful though to have had this incredibly amazing experience. Thank you so much to all of our amazing Gleeks who supported us so much! I love you guys," she tweeted before the last day of filming, praising "the most amazing crew who worked so hard everyday to make the show amazing. I'm so grateful for them." She added in another post, "So thank you all again so much from the bottom of my heart. I will miss Rachel Berry so very much."

The Rachel Berry depicter also posed with Morrison, Criss and Chris Colfer whom she called "my boys." She later shared an image showing a goodbye carnival that Paramount threw for the show.

Kevin McHale, meanwhile, shared a group selfie taken while the stars got their make-up done by the crew. "Last make-up! Hot damn I'm gonna miss seeing these beautiful faces every day," he captioned the snap. "Thank you Paramount for letting me and my friends hang out here for the past 6 years. You can have 5 of your stages back now," he wrote alongside another picture showing him and co-stars on the lot of Paramount Studios.

Morrison told E! News at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscar party at the Montage in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, "We just wrapped about an hour ago. It was a tough day. I'm not going to cry now because I kind of got it all out, but it was a really tough day."

He went on sharing about the filming of the final scene in which he delivered the final song, "It was a beautiful send-off. But it was tough. I was singing to all the kids and Amber Riley starts crying and I'm like, 'Come on, don't do this to me right now.' And then Lea Michele starts crying and then Darren Criss and Chris Colfer." He added, "There were a lot of hugs and a lot of tears. It's been an amazing almost seven years."

"Glee" will air the series finale on Saturday, March 20 at 8/7c on FOX.
