AceShowbiz - The full line-up of those who will perform live on "American Idol" season 14 has been unveiled. After half of the Top 24 were revealed on Wednesday, February 18, now the rest of the singers who advanced on the competition were announced.
The Thursday episode first showed Josh Sanders who was unfortunately sent home. Hollywood Anderson, who performed the last in the previous episode, didn't make the cut either. Maddy Hudson's performance of Rihanna's "Diamonds" failed to impress the judges
Joey Cook felt the pressure of the competition as her friends were sent home one by one, telling the judges through tears, "Everyone is so good." She, however, made it through to the live shows. Also advancing were Katherine Winston, Savion Wright and Mark Andrew.
Alexis Gomez put a twist on The Band Perry's song by singing it in Spanish, while Quentin Alexander took a risk by opting for a lesser known song, "Youth" by Foxes. They both made it through to the next round.
It wasn't the same case with Emily Brooke who chose Keith Urban's song "Stupid Boy" and was sent packing by the judges. At 29 years old, Nick Fradiani had his last shot to be an "Idol" as he moved on to the next round. Sarina-Joi Crowe also advanced after three previous failed attempts on the show.
Qaasim Middleton delivered an over-the-top performance of Allen Stone's "Satisfaction", but the judges liked it and sent him to the next round. Riley Bria scored the boys' last spot in the Top 24, while Shi Scott rounded out the Top 12 girls.
