Dethroning last week's No. 1 Taylor Swift's '1989', Drizzy's mixtape opens with 535,000 units, outselling the erotic film's soundtrack album featuring songs by Beyonce, The Weeknd and more.

AceShowbiz - As expected, Drake's surprise mixtape "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" has landed at No. 1 on this week's Billboard 200. The project, which was made available on iTunes late last week, opens with 535,000 units, 495,000 of which are pure album sales. This marks Drizzy's fourth release to have topped the chart, following 2013's "Nothing Was the Same", 2011's "Take Care" and 2010's "Thank Me Later".

"IYRTITL" posts the largest sales week for an R&B/hip-hop album since Beyonce Knowles' own surprise set debuted with 617,000 in late 2013. It additionally logs the second-largest sales week among all albums in the past year, behind Taylor Swift's "1989" which directly landed at No. 1 last October with nearly 1.3 million.

Drake's mixtape easily blocks the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack from the top slot. The compilation album featuring contributions from Beyonce, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding among others debuts at No. 2 with 258,000 units.

At No. 3, Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" rises from last week's No. 4 with 164,000 thanks to his four Grammy Award wins at the February 8 ceremony. At No. 4, fellow British singer Ed Sheeran's "X" falls from No. 3 with 140,000.

Former first placer Swift's "1989" closes out the top 5 with 125,000. The album has so far spent a total of 11 weeks at No. 1. This marks the massively successful set's first time to get kicked out of the top two.

Meghan Trainor's "Title" stays at No. 6 with 72,000. The "Now 53" compilation plunges from last week's No.2 to this week's No. 7 with nearly 72,000. Totally benefiting from the Grammys, Beck's "Morning Phase" jumps from No. 39 to No. 8 with 87,000. The record won the coveted Album of the Year in addition to Best Rock Album at the awards-giving show.

Other titles in the top 10 are the "2015 Grammy Nominees" album that rises six rungs to No. 9 with 65,000 and Maroon 5's "V" which slips one rung to No. 10 with 63,000.
