While Boulevard's members get along well with one another, Heatherle Spires tries to leave her group at the last minute.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" returned with the remainder of the group round on Wednesday, February 11. It picked up right where the last episode left off when Alexis Granville had an anxiety attack just before her group's performance. She was given a short break to recover and once she was okay, she joined her team onstage to sing Train's "Drive By". Only two members of the group, Alexis and Jax Cole, advanced, while the rest were sent home.
Cody Fry, Rayvon Owen, Piper Jones and Kellyeann Rodgers who went by the name of Boulevard are old friends as they went to Belmont University together. Their chemistry showed when they performed a slowed-down version of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone". They all went through to the next round.
Adanna Duru and Cindy Maslov, on the other hand, couldn't find common ground before launching into a rendition of Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" with their teammates. They both advanced though, while the rest of the group didn't.
Hollywood Anderson who led Team No Sleep was too exhausted to take charge of the group, so Laurel Taylor Taunton took over. After their performance of "Grenade" by Bruno Mars, Hollywood and Monica went through, while the others were sent packing.
Heatherle Spires tearfully tried to leave her group Soul Connection, but she couldn't find another team and was forced to reunite with Erika David, Sarina-Joi Crowe and Adrianna Simon. They also took on "Grenade" and Heatherle ended up being sent home.
L.K.Y.C.O., consisting of Trevor Douglas, Qaasim Middleton, Daniel Seavey and Savion Wright, and Violet Vixens were other teams whose members were all advancing. Vanessa Andrea was the only member of her group who went through, while blind singer Garrett Miles ended his journey on the competition after the group performance.
The remaining contestants would next perform solo and the already restless singers didn't even get a break. The show returns with a new episode on Thursday, February 12 at 8 P.M. on FOX.
