The festival's organizer agrees to remove all mention of Miley's 'Tongue Tied' video and says, 'We don't want to cause any harm to Miley and her image.'

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus' video will not be screened at New York Porn Festival despite previous announcement. "Miley was proud to make a film with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Jones. Neither she nor Quentin are participating in this 'festival' in any way," a representative says.

All mention of Miley's video in the festival's website and other social media accounts has since been removed. Though complying with the takedown request, organizer Simon Leahy insisted he had contacted the singer's camp before starting the promotion.

However, her rep claimed Simon misled the production company Cadence Films into granting permission to use it with no link to NYC Porn Festival website in the email. In response, the organizer blamed the company for not doing "their due diligence."

Speaking to New York Post, Simon said, "We asked to show it at the festival. Because the word porn is involved, basically the media has just sensationalized it and turned it into a click bait story." He added, "Obviously the story went totally viral that freaked everyone out. We don't want to cause any harm to Miley and her image."

The video is called "Tongue Tied". It was a short intro played during Miley's tour "Bangerz" last year. "It's a pop take on S&M," Simon previously said.
