AceShowbiz - Kris Jenner will be making a cameo in an upcoming episode of FOX's comedy "The Mindy Project". The network confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Monday, February 9.
The show's star and creator Mindy Kaling herself also confirmed Kris' guest stint by posting on her Instagram a photo of her and the reality TV star taken on set. "Mindy Lahiri & Kris Jenner: Best friends? @krisjenner #comingsoon #themindyproject," so she captioned the pic.
No official words on what role Kris would be portraying and on what episode she will appear. Though so, a source has informed Us Weekly, "She's playing herself. She shows up to the grand opening of Mindy's fertility clinic and gives Mindy advice about womanhood."
The official confirmation of Kris Jenner's cameo appearance on "The Mindy Project" came less than a week after it was reported that "Orange Is the New Black" star Laverne Cox would guest stint in an upcoming episode of the show. At that time, Mindy had hinted, "We have a guest star coming up this spring that I think is the single biggest, most exciting guest star we've ever had and I can't say who it is."
