Pattinson who plays a photographer named Dennis Stock and DeHaan who portrays James Dean can be seen having an argument near a newsstand.

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan are having a serious conversation in the first clip from "Life". Arriving online on Monday, February 10, the clip shows Pattinson, who plays rising photographer Dennis Stock, convincing DeHaan's James Dean that appearing in his photos will make him a star.

"I don't wanna play a stupid game," Dean tells Stock in the 1-minute clip. "You don't have to. Just let me help you. I got 30 million people reading 'Life' magazine. We do a great shoot and none of this really matters," the photographer replies. Dean eventually takes Stock to his favorite place in New York City. "Okay. But you won't like it," he says.

"Life" tells the story of the "East of Eden" actor's friendship with Stock who took the iconic photograph of Dean walking under the rain in Times Square. Back then, Dean felt pressure from the company which told him to do PR work for the movie. When he fled to his family's farm in Indiana, Stock followed. The iconic photo was taken after they were back in New York before Dean's tragic death in a car crash at the age of 24.

In addition to Pattinson and DeHaan, the movie features appearances from Joel Edgerton and Ben Kingsley. The Anton Corbijn-directed drama is set for release later this year.
