O'Donnell's representative confirms her departure from the daily show is prompted by her marital problems and thus she wants to focus more on her children.

AceShowbiz - Rosie O'Donnell and her wife of nearly three years Michelle Rounds are heading for divorce. Due to the personal issue, the 52-year-old actress and television personality has decided to leave "The View" in order to focus more on her children.

On Friday, February 6, O'Donnell's representative Cindi Berger confirmed the matter. "I can confirm that Rosie and her wife Michelle split in November. Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention. This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave 'The View.' Next week will be her last," so read the confirmation as quoted by Page Six.

ABC also issued a confirmation on O'Donnell's departure from the daily show. "Rosie is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show. When she told us she wanted to exit 'The View,' we respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first. We're delighted she's still part of the ABC family with upcoming guest appearances on 'The Fosters,' and we know she'll return to 'The View' often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family," so said the network.

Rosie O'Donnell married second wife Michelle Rounds back in June 2012. The couple has an adopted daughter named Dakota. Her first marriage was to Kelli Carpenter from 2004 to 2007. The former couple had adopted three children together. O'Donnell herself also has one adopted son named Parker Jaren O'Donnell.
