Milo Ventimiglia Coming to 'Gotham' as Serial Killer Ogre
TV

The 'Heroes' alum lands a recurring role as Jason Lennon a.k.a. the Ogre and will appear beginning in episode 19 of the show's first season.

AceShowbiz - Milo Ventimiglia has booked a trip to "Gotham", but his arrival may be less than welcomed by the city residents. The Peter Petrelli of "Heroes" is cast in a recurring role as Jason Lennon a.k.a. the Ogre on the Batman prequel series. He will first appear in the 19th episode of the show's first season.

The Ogre is described as a handsome, wealthy and seductive serial killer who has been preying on the young women of Gotham for nearly a decade, luring them into his web and confronting them with a series of "tests" as he searches for his perfect mate. When the women fail to live up to his impossible standard, Lennon disposes of them quickly and viciously.

His obsessions, combined with Gordon's determination to bring him down, send both Gordon and Lennon - and those around them - on a course toward tragedy.

According to FOX and Warner Bros., this Ogre is an original character, not related to the villain from the DC Comics who shares the same nickname.

Ventimiglia, who is also known for his role as Rory Gilmore's love interest Jess Mariano on "Gilmore Girls", can be seen on ABC's upcoming series "The Whispers". His popular series "Heroes" will be revived as a miniseries called "Heroes Reborn" on NBC, but the actor is seemingly not interested in making a comeback.

"When the show ended for me, I was like, OK, that story is done," he recently told E! News. "To drum up old relationships is kind of unnerving. It's kind of like that girlfriend that you really loved way back when, and you just want to fall in love again...But honestly I'm just so excited for Jack [Coleman] and crew moving forward. Whether it's my involvement or not, I'm very excited for all of them."

"Gotham" airs Mondays at 8 P.M. on FOX.
