Bruce Jenner Receives Mixed Response From Family Over His Transition
Celebrity

Scott Disick reportedly 'didn't react very well' at first, Kanye West is 'totally fine with it,' while Kim Kardashian makes sure her mother is OK before giving her stepfather full support.

AceShowbiz - Not all of Bruce Jenner's family members fully accepted his transition from male to female when he first talked to them about it. According to PEOPLE, Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy Scott Disick "didn't react very well" at first, but "is now on board."

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West "is totally fine with it." An insider says, "He believes in live and let live, and he took it all in stride. He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance - complete acceptance."

As for Kim, she "went to Kris and asked her how she felt. They had a very long conversation about it. Once Kim was satisfied that Kris was emotionally okay, she was able to give Bruce her unconditional support."

"Bruce told them everything - where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect," a family insider claims. "Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly."

"They all came all around pretty quickly, but each of them had to process it in their own way," the source continues. "All they want is for him to be happy."

Although "supportive of Bruce's transition," Kourtney and Scott are reportedly struggling "to explain to their children that their grandfather Bruce is becoming a woman." A source tells Radar Online, "Scott thinks it is going to be a little weird to have to explain to the kids what is going on."

The couple has three children, Mason, 5, Penelope, 2, and Reign, two months old. "They are too young to understand," the insider says. "As of right now, Bruce is 'Pop-Pop' to Mason...Penelope is at that age where she will not remember Bruce as a man and the same thing with Reign. But Mason is so inquisitive and nothing gets by him."
