Smith and Azalea collect five nominations each, being followed by Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande who receive four each.

AceShowbiz - Artists vying for 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards are revealed. British new singer Sam Smith and Aussie rising star Iggy Azalea dominate the nomination with five nods each. Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande trail closely behind with four each.

The four artists are pitted against each in the most coveted prize for Artist of the Year this year. The fifth nominee in the category is country music crooner Luke Bryan. Smith and Azalea are additionally up for Best New Artist along with Bastille, Cole Swindell, and Meghan Trainor.

A new category is added to the event this year. Renegade Award dedicated to an artist who "defies convention and breaks boundaries" has Brantley Gilbert, Charli XCX, Hozier, Azalea, and Trainor among the nominees. The winner of Renegade, Best Fan Army, and Best Lyrics will be determined by fans.

The awards will be handed in a live ceremony airing March 29 on NBC at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
