The singer posts two photos of her posing with Macca, including one showing them being joined by Pearl Jam's guitarist Mike McCready and other instrumentalists.

AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa has a collaboration with Paul McCartney underway. The Mother Monster posted on Tuesday night, February 3 a couple of photos of her and the British musician working on something in the studio.

The first picture shows her and McCartney surrounded by a number of instrumentalists including Pearl Jam's guitarist Mike McCready. "Working on one of his many secret projects! Killer musicians, vibe, and lots of laughs," she wrote.

She and Macca pose next to a drum kit in the second snap. The "Applause" singer revealed in the caption that she once "rejected" a collaboration with the surviving member of The Beatles. "Always a good time with my buddy," she said. "I'll never forget when he called me last year to work and I hung up the phone cuz I thought it was a prank!"

Details on the two superstars' project are still kept under wraps.

GaGa is currently working on her next solo album. She recently teased the follow-up to 2013's "ARTPOP" with Instagram photos of her with fellow musicians including her "Poker Face" collaborator RedOne and British songbird Adele.

McCartney, meanwhile, has been everywhere these days. He first joined Kanye West for "Only One" earlier this year before reuniting with the rapper for Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds".
