Lucasfilm has requested a subpoena against ImageShack, an image-hosting site, as they attempt to track down whoever leaked an image from the movie back in October.

AceShowbiz - Lucasfilm is tracking down someone who leaked an image from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" back in October. According to Courthouse News Service, Lucasfilm filed a subpoena in federal court on January 30 against ImageShack, a photo-hosting site, in relation to the case.
On October 29, 2014, someone with username "Darth_Simi" allegedly posted an authorized photo from the movie to the site. The photo shows a character holding a red crossguard-style lightsaber which turns out similar to the one featured in the movie's teaser trailer released in late November. The company also mentioned the link and asked ImageShack to remove the photo.
Fans are now eagerly waiting for the space adventure directed by J.J. Abrams to be released in theater. Set for release on December 18, the movie will see Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher reprising their roles as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia respectively. Some stars such as Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong'o and Andy Serkis are also among cast members.
A year after "The Force Awakens" release, the first untitled stand-alone Star Wars film will arrive in theaters. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the movie will reportedly be based on characters in "The Force Awakens".
