AceShowbiz - Imagine Dragons kicked off the new week with a new song. The Las Vegas rockers premiered "Shots" online on Monday, January 26 as a promo single off their upcoming second album "Smoke + Mirrors" that's out next month.
"Shot" is a mid-tempo rock song on which vocalist Dan Reynolds apologizes for being an unlucky guy who always ends up hurting the ones he loves. "I'm sorry for everything oh everything/ I've done from the second that I was born it seems I had a loaded gun/ And then I shot shot shot a hole through everything I love/ Do I shot shot shot a hole through every single thing that I loved," he sings.
"Smoke + Mirrors" is set for release on February 17 via KIDinaKORNER and Interscope. Serving as the follow-up to 2012's Grammy-winning "Night Visions", the album has also been preceded by lead single "I Bet My Life" and another countdown track "Gold".
