'Guardians of the Galaxy' Post-Credit Sequence Gets Comic Book Sequel

Fans will know how Howard the Duck falls into The Collector's clutches in the comic book which is released in April.

AceShowbiz - The story of Howard the Duck, who is featured as a prized possession of The Collector in post-credit sequence in "Guardians of the Galaxy", will continue in comic book. On Monday, January 19, Marvel revealed that fans would know how Howard ended up being captured by The Collector in the second issue of Howard the Duck series.

"Howard's first big case has taken him across the universe and landed him in the clutches of The Collector! But he's not alone as the very popular Rocket Raccoon is a prisoner as well! Have you ever seen a comic book sequel to a post-credits scene in a movie? Well, you will now!" read the description as reported by THR.

The cover art for the issue has been also revealed. In the image, Peter Quill and Gamora can be seen posing for a group photo with Howard while making a duck face.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" is the highest grossing movie in 2014 with $333 million. Directed by James Gunn, it stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace and Benicio Del Toro among others.
