It's just revealed that the 'America's Got Talent' presenter served his estranged wife with divorce papers before the holidays.

AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon has quietly filed for divorce from Mariah Carey, a few months after announcing their split. Rumor has it, the "America's Got Talent" presenter filed his petition on December 12, a little over a week after his estranged wife had a rough time performing at the Christmas tree-lighting event.
According to TMZ, she missed the "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" taping back then because she was discussing divorce settlement with her lawyer. The taping was already wrapped up when she finally showed up three hours late, forcing her to perform live only to get criticized by fans after her unedited vocals from the performance leaked.
Cannon and Carey split after six years of marriage. They have twin children, Monroe and Moroccan. Cannon revealed in 2014 there was trouble in paradise. He is currently preparing a new album rumored to feature song in which he will trash-talk his wife, which he vehemently denied. Carey, meanwhile, is gearing up for her Las Vegas residency show in May and June.
