The Star Lord of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is scheduled to receive his Pudding Pot on February 6 at Farkas Hall in Harvard Square.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt is named Man of the Year by Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. The "Parks and Recreation" actor is going to be roasted and presented his Pudding Pot at Farkas Hall in Harvard Square on February 6.

His co-star Amy Poehler was first announced as 2015 Woman of the Year. The Man and Woman of the Year honors are annually given to performers who have made lasting contributions to entertainment.

"We vehemently deny that the members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals are obsessed with Parks and Recreation," Hasty Pudding president Jason Hellerstein joked. "There is absolutely no basis to the rumors of ritualistic weekly viewings of the show at the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse."

"Joking aside, Chris Pratt's recent achievements as an actor are outstanding and we could not be more thrilled to host him and celebrate his talent as only the Pudding can."

Pratt did have a big year in 2014. He lent his voice to the main character in the huge animated film "The Lego Movie" and joined Marvel's roster in live-action superhero adaptation "Guardians of the Galaxy". He will next star in "Jurassic World".

Hasty Pudding's past honorees include Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Justin Timberlake, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and James Franco. Last year, Neil Patrick Harris got the honor.
