Another version of the story reveals that the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker had a meltdown after running into the 'Nightcrawler' actor at Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's party at Chateau Marmont.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift ran into her famous ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal at Golden Globes after party on Sunday, January 11. The actor reportedly hit the dance floor and danced briefly with Rita Ora. He also had a chat with Malin Akerman, while Swift arrived later just before 2 A.M.
Clad in a bright marigold Jenny Packham gown, the country-turned-pop superstar met Gyllenhaal who was in the lobby ready to leave the party at Chateau Marmont. A source tells Us Weekly, "Taylor and her friends arrived at the Chateau Marmont just before 2 A.M. and Jake was there in the lobby. He was leaving as she was coming in. Taylor ran up and gave him a big hug and they caught up. They were smiling and looked like any old friends catching up."
Another eyewitness tells a similar story, saying, "Taylor said 'Hi,' and he said 'Hello' back and smiled." She reportedly introduced him to her friends, including the members of the pop rock band HAIM.
However, another source shares a different version of story about the exes' encounter. The source says inside Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes after party, Swift freaked out after she saw Gyllenhaal being surrounded by Ora and Akerman.
"She wasn't dancing. But I saw her grab her friend's hand and repeat, 'We have to go. We have to go,' " the source says before adding, "The four girls were together and Taylor was having a mini meltdown. Cara [Delevingne]'s arm was around Taylor, calming her down as Rita looked on. They were talking extremely closely."
Before attending the party at Chateau Marmont, Swift and her girl pals had fun at the Weinstein and Netflix Golden Globes bash at the Beverly Hilton. Gyllenhaal also attended the bash, but they narrowly avoided an encounter.
An insider tells HollywoodLife.com, "Taylor was sitting on a couch with her girls and Harvey Weinstein. They were having a great time when Harvey spotted Jake and tried calling him over to the table. Fortunately, Jake was engrossed in a conversation and didn't hear, but you could see Taylor stiffen up. She gathered her pals and headed to another party shortly after that!"
