Lena Dunham Would Let Taylor Swift Murder Her Character on 'Girls'

The star and series creator of the HBO comedy is open to the possibility of her girl pal Swift appearing her show, saying, 'If she wanted to come murder my character on the show, I'd let her.'

AceShowbiz - Lena Dunham is good friend with Taylor Swift and there's a chance that she could score the country-turned-pop superstar for a guest appearance on her show "Girls". "That would be the greatest thing of all time. She's a little busy taking over the world right now," she tells EW when asked about the possibility of Swift making an appearance on the HBO series.

Defending the "Shake It Off" hitmaker against haters who slammed her acting, Dunham continues, "I once read this thing online that was like, 'Lena doesn't think Taylor is a good enough actress.' Taylor is an incredible actor, she's the most iconic performer of her generation, and she's also one of my best friends. If she wanted to come murder my character on the show, I'd let her. She can do anything she wants."

Speaking of nudity on the show, Dunham and co-star Jemima Kirke say there's a limit on what they will show on screen. "You won't show pubic hair. It's very weird. I don't see it as different. Nude is nude is nude," Kirke says, to which Dunham agrees.

Dunham adds, "Rebel Wilson made a joke about this on the MTV Movie Awards, something like 'I've seen Lena Dunham's vagina more than Ben Affleck's beard.' I've never shown my vagina! That's my thin red line." She further explains, "I think because for me boobs and butts feel comic, and vagina feels intimate and specific. If I was going to do it, I'd want to do it in a sexy French film or something."

Aside from "Girls", Dunham is set to lend her voice in the season 27 premiere of "The Simpsons". In the episode titled "Every Man's Dream", Homer is diagnosed with narcolepsy - but instead of returning home with his prescription medication - he returns home drunk. He and Marge visit a marriage counselor and have a trial separation, during which Homer begins dating a 20-something named Candace, voiced by Dunham.
