'Batman v Superman' Rumored to Be Split Into Two Films

An image which presumably is from the highly-anticipated movie's trailer sees that 'Batman v Superman: Enter the Knight' will be released on October 23, 2015.

AceShowbiz - Speculation suggesting that the "Batman v Superman" movie might be split into two parts has just emerged. The rumor started after a screengrab of what appeared to be the trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" emerged via Ain't It Cool News on Friday, January 9, showing two titles and release dates.

According to the image, the first part is called "Batman v Superman: Enter the Knight" and it will be released on October 23, 2015. The second part, which is named "Dawn of Justice", is set to hit theaters on March 26, 2016 as previously announced. So far, Warner Bros. has not responded to requests for comments.

Batman-News, however, doubted that the report floating online was legit. They pointed that the font on the photo is different from the one on the official "Batman v Superman" website. They also noticed that Warner Bros. doesn't even own the domain name BatmanvSupermanEnterTheKnight.com.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" finished filming late last year. Recently, El Mayimbe from Latino Review shared that the first trailer for the he highly-anticipated movie starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Adams among others would be attached to the Wachowskis' "Jupiter Ascending" which hits U.S. theaters on February 6.
