AceShowbiz - The Weeknd recorded a new song called "Earned It" for the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated movie "Fifty Shades of Grey". As an early Christmas present for fans, the R&B recluse then premiered the track on Monday night, December 22.

The slow-tempo ballad finds the Canadian singer showcasing his sexy vocals as he talks about falling for a girl whom he thinks is different. "So I'ma care for you, you, you," he sings the hook. "Cause girl you're perfect/ You're always worth it/ And you deserve it/ The way you work it/ Cause girl you earned it."

Starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia "Ana" Steele, "Fifty Shades of Grey" is based on an erotic novel of the same title by E. L. James. Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson with a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback, the film is set to be released in the U.S. on February 13, 2015.

In addition to The Weeknd's "Earned It", the movie's sountrack features a remix to Beyonce Knowles' "Crazy in Love". The new version of Bey's hit can be heard in one of the film's trailers.
