The country singer, who released her debut album 'The Road Between' back in June, scraps all the dates on her first headlining tour that's supposed to open in January.

AceShowbiz - Lucy Hale is forced to cancel all the shows on her "Road Between" tour. The country singer announced the news and apologized to fans in a message she posted on both Instagram and Twitter on Friday, December 19.

"Words can't describe how disappointed I am for having to cancel something we were all looking forward to. Your support of my music has made me so happy and you'll never know how grateful I am for you," read the message.

"I am going to follow through and take the advice not to embark on the tour at this time to prevent further damage. I love you all and thank you for your understanding," it added.

The "Pretty Little Liars" star then revealed the real reason behind the cancellation on Twitter as she responded to a fan who expressed concern over her condition. "I'm okay !! Just dealing with vocal strain," she told the fan.

The "Road Between" tour was planned in support of Hale's debut album of the same title which was released in June. It was supposed to open in January 29 in Boston. Fans who already have tickets to the shows have been told to contact their point of purchase for refund information.
