According to a new report from leaked emails following Sony Pictures hack, a crossover between the Xavier-led mutant group and Fantastic Four is in the works.

AceShowbiz - More info about upcoming projects which are obtained from Sony Pictures cyber-attack has been revealed. According to a new report by The Daily Beast, a crossover between "X-Men" and "The Fantastic Four" apparently is in the works. The plan was revealed in conversations between Michael De Luca, co-president of production for Columbia Pictures, and Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, in email exchanges dated September 20.

"[Simon] Kinberg told me fox is steering Xmen and Fantastic Four into an eventual team up film," read an email from De Luca. "Seems to me maybe, since the Spider-man universe itself is deep, you guys should look at sinister six, new spidey, female movie and venom as linked pieces leading to eventual mega movie ala Feige and Fox and not stand alone single films. It's early in all these and you can still map out a blueprint for connective tissue."

The report also mentioned that "Mud" director Jeff Nichols might sit behind the lens for "Aquaman" which stars Jason Mamoa. Additionally, it revealed Beyonce Knowles' father Matthew Knowles told Screen Gems' Clint Culpepper he wanted to make a Destiny's Child biopic.

Tons of info such as social security numbers, private emails among execs and a handful of unreleased films leaked online after Sony Pictures Entertainment was hacked by a group who named themselves Guardians of Peace in late November. On Sunday, December 14, Sony's attorney David Boies sent a letter to media, cautioning them to destroy the data leaked from the hacking.

Referring to the documents as "stolen information," Boies said, "We are writing to ensure that you are aware that SPE does not consent to your possession, review, copying, dissemination, publication, uploading, downloading or making any use of the stolen information."

In related news, someone claiming to be a member of Guardians of Peace has sent another package of emails, this time from Sony Pictures Releasing International president Steven O'Dell's inbox. The group also said they would send a "Christmas gift" which consisted of "larger quantities of data," THR reports.
