The Walden Schmidt depicter was caught off guard when Ellen DeGeneres asked him if Sheen would return for the series finale, saying, 'If you smell something, I wasn't smoking it.'

AceShowbiz - Ashton Kutcher may have fueled speculation that Charlie Sheen will return to "Two and a Half Men" for the series finale. Appearing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Friday, December 12, he teased that he knew the show's ending though he hadn't filmed it yet.

"Does Charlie come back?" Ellen DeGeneres asked. Ashton lost for words, his mouth gaped open and he shook his head in silence before saying, "If you're working on the Warner Bros. lot, if there's sirens, come save me."

Ellen pressed him, "So Charlie comes back." The new dad responded with giggle, "I didn't say that. Did I say that?" He added, "If you smell something, I wasn't smoking it."

The last episode of "Two and a Half Men" is scheduled to air Thursday, February 19 at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. Charlie Sheen, whose character Charlie Harper was killed off in 2011 following a public feud with series creator Chuck Lorre, has several times expressed his desire to return to the sitcom.

The "Anger Management" star said in October, "I would definitely do it, yeah, yeah. If they'll still have me, I will be there. Yeah, I owe it some measure of closure. I owe it to the fans... I just think it makes sense."
