The 35-year-old comedian takes to Instagram to respond to recently leaked emails in which a Sony executive called him a 'whore' after he asked additional money for promoting his movie on social media.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has spoken out against recently leaked emails in which a Sony executive called him a "whore." The "Ride Along" actor took to Instagram on Thursday, December 11 to post a screenshot of a lenghty message along with a caption, "#KnowYourselfWorth #HustleHart #MogulMindset."

Kevin wrote, "Knowing your self worth is extremely important, people....I worked very hard to get where I am today. I look at myself as a brand and because of that I will never allow myself to be taking advantage of. I OWN MY BRAND....I MAKE SMART DECISIONS FOR MY BRAND....I PROTECT MY BRAND. Which is why I'm able to brush ignorance off of my shoulder and continue to move forward."

"I refuse to be broken, people," he continued, "With that being said its now time for me to get back to building this empire that I've always dreamed of!"

In the recent leaked emails, Sony executive Clint Culpepper called Kevin a "whore" after the comedian allegedly asked for additional payment for promoting his movie "Think Like a Man Too" on Twitter. "I'm not saying he's a whore, but he's a whore," Clint wrote.

"I'm tempted to suggest we call his bluff," he added, "If [Kevin] doesn't do his normal routine, his film will not open as well and his brand will appear diminished and he will - in fact - be f***ing himself because we have his next 2 immediate films."
