'The Colbert Report' Enlists Seth Rogen, Kendrick Lamar and Grimmy as Final Guests

Stephen Colbert's final week on Comedy Central begins Monday, December 15 with Rogen as a guest and ends December 18 with his colleague and lifelong friend Grimmy.

AceShowbiz - Stephen Colbert has announced the guests for the final episodes of "The Colbert Report". The comedian, who will soon move to CBS, will end the Comedy Central show after a nine-year run with the Death.

The final week begins Monday, December 15 with Seth Rogen as a guest to promote his new film "The Interview". Kendrick Lamar will stop by Tuesday for an interview in addition to making a musical performance. Veteran and author Phil Klay will discuss his book "Redeployment", which earned him the 2014 National Book Award for Fiction, on Wednesday, and the final guest on Thursday will be Colbert's "colleague and lifelong friend, Grimmy" a.k.a. the Grim Reaper.

In a statement, Colbert promised, "Our last week of shows are going to be really special, just like every other week." Comedy Central also plans a marathon of classic "Colbert" episodes from 10 A.M. to 11 P.M. ET/PT on December 18.

Colbert is leaving Comedy Central for CBS, where he will replace David Letterman in the 11:35 P.M. slot. He will reportedly make his debut as the new "Late Show" host in late summer.
