AceShowbiz - Names of some characters who make appearances in the 88-second teaser trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" released earlier this month have been revealed. Director JJ Abrams shared the names to EW via trading cards. Among characters who are introduced with the cards are the hooded figure holding the light cyber, John Boyega's character as well as the adorable droid which appears at the beginning of the video.
The cute droid is called BB-8. Boyega's character, meanwhile, is called Finn. The actor who plays the hooded figure is still not revealed, but the character's name is Kylo Ren. Actress Daisy Ridley who can be seen riding her motorbike is playing a character simply known as Ren. Oscar Isaac, who flies the X-Wing, portrays Poe Dameron. The trading cards also feature the Millennium Falcon, X-Wings and the Stormtroopers.
In addition to the said stars, there are many other cast members whose characters are still kept under wraps such as Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, who narrates the trailer, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will arrive in U.S. theaters on December 18, 2015. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher reprise their roles as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia respectively.
