'Selma' dominates the list as it's nominated in outstanding motion picture, lead actor, best supporting actor and supporting actress.

AceShowbiz - Nominations at the 46th annual NAACP Image Awards were unveiled on Tuesday, December 9. In movie category, "Selma" dominates the list as it nabs eight nominations. The movie, which tells the story of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as he fought for the rights to vote in 1965, secured nominations which include outstanding motion picture and lead actor for David Oyelowo.
Andre Holland, Common and Wendell Pierce who took part in the flick are nominated for best supporting actor, while Carmen Ejogo and Oprah Winfrey are vying for best supporting actress trophy. Director Ava DuVernay is also nominated for best director.
Other nominees in best supporting actor include Cedric the Entertainer for his role in "Top Five" and "Beyond the Lights" star Dany Glover. Other stars who compete with Ejogo and Winfrey for best supporting actress are Jill Scott, Octavia Spencer and Viola Davis. Davis additionally bags two more nominations for her roles in "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" and TV series "How to Get Away with Murder".
All winners from the movie, TV and music categories are announced at a ceremony which will air live on TV One on February 6.
