Two other drama series from Shondaland, 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'How to Get Away with Murder', also score multiple nominations at the upcoming awards event.

AceShowbiz - Shonda Rhimes' dramas dominate the recently unveiled nominations for the 46th NAACP Image Awards. "Scandal" leads the pack with six noms, competing with "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" from Shondaland as well as "Being Mary Jane" and "House of Cards" in Outstanding Drama Series category.
"Scandal" star Kerry Washington is pitted against "How to Get Away with Murder" lead actress Viola Davis for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series title. Additionally, the two shows and "Grey's" are up against each other in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
"Scandal" is joined by "Orange Is the New Black" as the most nominated TV show for the annual prize-giving event. The Netflix hit series eyes Outstanding Comedy Series, which also has "Black-ish", "House of Lies", "Key & Peele" and "Real Husbands of Hollywood" as the nominees.
"OITNB" is also up for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series (Uzo Aduba), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Adrienne C. Moore, Laverne Cox and Lorraine Toussaint) and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series (Sara Hess for episode "It Was the Change").
Other shows grabbing multiple nominations at the NAACP Image Awards include "House of Lies", "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", "Black-ish" and "Parks and Recreation".
