The pro boxer reportedly saw through an iPhone video chat the moment when Hayes pulled out a gun, shot his wife, and eventually took his own life.

AceShowbiz - Floyd Mayweather, Jr. could be a key witness in the Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley murder-suicide. The boxing champ reportedly was on an iPhone video chat with Hayes when the rapper shot his wife Moseley and eventually killed himself.

According to TMZ, Hayes confided in Mayweather about his wife's alleged infidelity during the Facetime on Monday morning, December 8. Hayes said he was going to kill her, and Mayweather reportedly tried to talk some sense into his friend to no avail.

Hayes, a member of Mayweather's Money Team, and Moseley, a star of VH1's series "Hit the Floor", married in 2008. She was also a backup dancer for stars like Chris Brown and Usher, and allegedly had a fling with one of the famous singers she worked with.

While on a break with Hayes two years ago, Moseley allegedly romanced Trey Songz. Although Hayes and Moseley were eventually back on together, "he was crushed and never got over it."

Songz hasn't commented on the rumor, but he tweeted a grieving message on Twitter in the wake of Moseley's tragic death, "R.I.P babygirl. Once an angel on earth, now watching over us from Heaven. You'll b missed but never forgotten. Love."
