The actor, who plays the Mad Titan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, talks about his villainous character during a press junket for his movie 'Inherent Vice'.

AceShowbiz - Josh Brolin who plays Thanos in Marvel Cinematic Universe briefly teases his future appearance as the Mad Titan in "Avengers: Infinity War". Speaking to some members of media during a press junket for "Inherent Vice", Brolin also shared how he secured the role.

"I had a good friend Louis D'Esposito who used to be a first AD and is now the co-president of Marvel, and he and I used to train together. We did 'Hollow Man' together. He called me up and started talking about this thing. It was nice because I could intimately talk to him about it. What I liked. What I didn't like about the whole idea of it," he explained, as quoted by Collider.

"I love the idea of Thanos. Ultimately, it's Thanos against everyone. Why wouldn't you do that? It's a strange thing. I was more nervous doing that than I've been for a long time. I was more nervous doing that than anything I've done in a long time. I was sitting in front of 32 cameras and my face was sprayed with iridescent paint and all that. It was very, very different, but I like it. It's fun. It's different," he continued saying of the character.

Thanos first made appearance in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy". He will be seen taking on the Earth's mightiest heroes in "Avengers: Infinity War Part I" and "Avengers: Infinity War Part II" which will be released on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 respectively.

Brolin now can be seen as Det. Christian "Bigfoot" Bjornsen in "Inherent Vice". Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the comedy-drama movie which also stars Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon and Owen Wilson among others hits U.S. theaters on December 12.
