AceShowbiz - The 2014 NewNowNext Awards won't air until December 7, but the winners have already been revealed. In TV field, HBO's "Looking" won big with two gongs. It was named Best New Television Series while its star Jonathan Groff nabbed the Best New Television Actor award.
"Orange is the New Black" took home one trophy, thanks to Lorraine Toussaint's performance as the show's main antagonist Yvonne "Vee" Parker. She was honored with Best New Television Actress award.
The annual event also handed out trophies for the winners in movie, theater, music, fashion and other categories based on the votes from the Logo TV audience. Hosted by "Glee" star Darren Criss, it served as an unofficial kickoff to Art Basel in Miami. It was taped Tuesday, December 2 at the Kimpton's Surfcomber in Miami South Beach and will air this Sunday on Logo TV at 8 P.M. ET/PT.
Joe Jonas tackled the DJ duty, while Jessie J, Kristin Chenoweth and Betty Who made live performances. The show also featured special appearances by "OITNB" stars Danielle Brooks, Lorraine Touissant, Laverne Cox and Lea DeLaria, "Looking" stars Raul Castillo & Frankie Alvarez, Nick Jonas, Charli XCX, Nick Cannon, A Great Big World, Fifth Harmony and many more.
