AceShowbiz - Who guessed that Jane Krakowski once vied for the lead role in NBC's "Peter Pan Live!". The actress' audition tape for the upcoming holiday musical has "leaked" via Funny or Die, revealing the actress desperately trying to convince the producers that she deserved the part.

In the hilarious clip, the Elaine Vassal of "Ally McBeal" brought her Tony Award to the audition. She said since Peter Pan is a British, she had worked on her Cockney accent. She also sang and asked if Peter's addicted to pixie dust.

The Golden Globe-nominated actress tried to fly by jumping off a chair but she fell hard on the floor. She refused to wake up until people clapped for her, and sang once again before leaving the room.

"Peter Pan Live!" stars Allison Williams in the title role. She is joined in the cast by Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, and Christian Borle as Mr. Smee and George Darling, among other stars. The holiday musical event will air Thursday, December 4 from 8 to 10 P.M. on NBC.
