In the meantime, fans are sharing their reactions to a major character's death in the midseason finale which some had seen it coming.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" hits the brake after the midseason finale on Sunday, November 30, but teases fans with what's in store in the second half of season 5 by releasing a promo for the February return. Michonne takes the spotlight in the video, talking about a place where they "can be safe."

Rick, Andrea and Daryl walk together after leaving the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, but Daryl is later seen alone in the woods, possibly leaving the group after the heartbreaking death in the latest episode. Meanwhile, Rick remains optimistic as saying, "We'll be okay. Because this is how we survive."

"The Walking Dead" will return with the new episodes beginning in February.

In the meantime, fans are still talking about the death of a major character in "Coda" and have made [SPOILER ALERT!] #RIPBeth a trending topic on Twitter. The Scarlet Queen wrote, "So... Can I call work in the morning and tell them that there was a death in the family & I can't make it? I need time to grieve. #RIPBeth."

Jeffrey Brugger tweeted, "Well time to cry myself to sleep and then hibernate until Feb. and wait for the return of the @WalkingDead_AMC #WalkingDead #RIPBeth." Another Twitter user named moose chimed in, "#RIPBeth I'm seriously going to miss you."

Emily Kinney, who played Beth, herself was emotional and couldn't hold back her tears when talking about her character's death on "The Talking Dead". She also admitted in an interview with TVLine that she's satisfied with her storyline, but she "wasn't ready for it to be over."

She explained, "I did not see it coming at all, especially this season. It's weird, because I would've been OK with [this happening] in the second season or the third season, when I was like, 'Oh, maybe this character is coming to a close. What else is there to do with her?' But now I feel differently... I feel like there was still so much more to [explore.], like, what could have happened with Daryl?"
