'Hot in Cleveland' Will End After Season 6

TV Land is not giving the popular Betty White sitcom another season beyond the currently-running one.

AceShowbiz - TV Land's long-running sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" is canceled. The series, starring Betty White and Valerie Bertinelli among others, will bow out after season six which debuted on November 5.

"After five incredible seasons of Hot in Cleveland, the sixth season, currently in production, will be its last," TV Land said in a statement. "It's been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli%, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew."

The cable network continued, "The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past 5 years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale."

"Hot in Cleveland" has been a solid performer, averaging 2.4 million viewers since its debut. It launched a spin-off starring Cedric the Entertainer, "The Soul Man", which has run for three seasons.
