The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer snubs the charity song to fight Ebola, but she makes a donation to help the health crisis in Africa.

AceShowbiz - Adele doesn't participate in Sir Bob Geldof's Band Aid to raise funds to fight the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, but she shows her support in a different way. Her rep reveals that she makes a donation to benefit the Ebola crisis.

A representative for the Grammy winning singer opens up to The Sun, "Bob and the organisers spoke directly with her management but at no point was she confirmed. Adele is supporting Oxfam's Ebola Appeal with a donation."

According to Geldof, the "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker is taking a break to focus on her family. "Adele is doing nothing, she's not answering the phone. She doesn't want to be bothered by anyone... She's bringing up a family you know," he says.

"Some people just don't think they can't make any impact by coming along," Geldof reportedly adds. In a different interview with The Mirror, he says, "It's fine, I understand it's not for everybody and other people support in different ways."

Although Adele didn't join the lineup, the initiative is still full of stars. The likes of Bono, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, One Direction, and Chris Martin have all showed up at Sarm Studios in Notting Hill, London to re-record the classic song "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

The project is dubbed Band Aid 30 to mark the 30th anniversary of the supergroup which was first founded in 1984 to fight poverty in Ethiopia. British and Irish musicians like Phil Collins, Paul Young, George Michael, Sting, Paul McCartney, and David Bowie have participated at one point in the past.
