AceShowbiz - The teaser trailer for "The DUFF" has arrived online for viewing pleasure. Promoted by the cast member Bella Thorne on her Instagram, it gives a sneak peek at the overconfident crowd and the insecure outcast crossing paths in a high school.
"I am beyond thrilled to show you the teaser trailer for #TheDUFF," gushes the actress who plays the popular girl. "This was such an incredible experience with the most talented people in the business. Book and script are so engaging and funny."
Adapted from Kody Keplinger's novel of the same name, it follows Bianca (Mae Whitman) who is known as "Designated Ugly Fat Friend" to her prettier, more popular friends. She enlists Wesley (Robbie Amell), a slick but charming jock, to help her reinvent herself and and overthrow the school's ruthless label maker Madison (Thorne).
The film will arrive in North America starting April 10, 2015.
